Ronaldinho Still Out, Puyol Returns

FC Barcelona striker Ronaldinho is still out of Frank Rijkaard’s list of available players for Saturday's game away to the Spanish league’s last ranked team Levante.

According to the club official statement, the Brazilian can’t resume playing because he is suffering from a pulled muscle in his right leg, an injury that club doctors oddly refused to give details about.

Local media reports say that the Brazilian wizard is recently disturbed by the increasing rumors about his unprofessional nightlife and he’s considering a transfer to Chelsea London. His brother, Roberto de Assis, is reportedly negotiating a future transfer with “the Blues” that will probably happen on December.

Although a few months ago a transfer of the Brazilian forward would had seemed pure insanity, form the start of the La Liga season, Barcelona played magnificent and the guy that inspired the Catalan attack was none other than Argentinean striker Lionel Mesi, who began emerging as the new Barcelona hero.

Of course, with both South American strikers on the field Barcelona would be better, but after realizing they can win just as easy with Mesi alone as he proved in the last two matches against Sevilla and Zaragoza, club officials may have thought at the enormous sum the Brazilian could be sold for.

Another attention-grabbing feature of Rijkaard's roster for the next match is the return of club captain Carles Puyol. The Catalan defender finished the recuperation period after he underwent an operation in June on the lateral external ligament in his left knee.

Puyol’s comeback works just fine for Rijkaard as he couldn’t count on Rafael Marquez’s services after he injured his right heel against Zaragoza, neither on those of Italian Gianluca Zambrotta, who is out for at least a month with a torn muscle in his right calf, also after Wednesday's game.
