Los Angeles - US pop star Rihanna, 21, reunited with her boyfriend R&B singer Chris Brown, 19, less than three weeks after an alleged assault by Brown left the singer injured, news reports said.
The couple was spending time together in Miami, Florida in a home owned by hip hop star Sean "Diddy" Combs, People.com and Usmagazine.com reported Friday.
"They are together again. They care for each other," People.com quoted an unidentified source as saying.
"While Chris is reflective and saddened about what happened, he is really happy to be with the woman he loves," the report said.
Brown re-initiated contact with Barbados-born Rihanna last week at the singer's 21st birthday, less than three weeks after the couple made headlines with their violent falling-out at the eve of the Grammy awards.
He earlier made a public apology and vowed to become a "better person," seeking counseling and the help and his family.
The R&B chart-topper was arrested on February 8 in Los Angeles after allegedly threatening a woman, who later turned out to be his girlfriend Rihanna. Brown was later released on a 50,000-dollar bail.
Pictures leaked on the internet showed the Umbrella-star with a bruised face and swollen lips.
Prosecutors have not yet decided whether to file formal charges. A court date has been set for March 5.
After the incident, Rihanna cancelled several concerts and retreated from the public spotlight, recovering at home in Barbados, in Mexico and Los Angeles.
