Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Aviva K. Bobb has extended restraining orders against three people, including Britney Spears' former manager and an ex-boyfriend, in order to hear more testimony in the case.
After the court heard testimony on Monday from Britney Spears' father Jamie Spears, the hearing to decide whether or not to extend the restraining order against Sam Lutfi continued Wednesday with revealing testimony from her hairdresser and bodyguard. According to Roberta Romero, who has been working on the pop superstar's hair for about a year now, sometime in late December, Sam got a hold of her cell phone number and sent her a total of 11 texts between Dec. 24 and Dec. 28. The texting barrage began on Dec. 24 when Sam contacted Roberta with asking to "please wish her a Merry Christmas for me."
Moreover the paparazzo ex-boyfriend of Britney Spears has been arrested. Adnan Ghalib is being charged in a felony for running over a court officer. Apparently, the shades-loving photographer decided that would be a good way to avoid getting served with papers for a restraining order from Spears. Adnan has pleaded not guilty and is looking at a possible eight years behind bars if found guilty.
The Los Angeles district attorney's office said Adnan Ghalib, 36, drove into a man who was attempting to serve him a temporary restraining order that banned him from contact with Spears.
The lawyers are seeking orders against Spears' former manager Osama "Sam" Lutfi, her ex-boyfriend Adnan Ghalib and attorney John Eardley. The attorneys contend the three conspired to break up the conservatorship and that Lutfi repeatedly tried to reach Spears.
