Remains of Four 9/11 Victims Identified

The remains of four more victims of the 9/11 attacks at the World Trade Center have been identified, authorities said.

Authorities said Monday they found the remains of Ronald Keith Milstein under the „Haul Road", the road used to carry the thousands of tons of debris resulted from the collapse of the twin towers. The remains were identified as belonging to Milstein by tracking the DNA, city medical examiner's office said

Milstein, a Queens resident, was 54 when he died in the attacks.

"I don't think any of us know how to react to it. It's incredible, one, that they found something, and two, that they were actually looking after 6-1/2 years," said Douglas Mann,  Milstein’s cousin, The NY Daily News wrote on its Web site.

Authorities said that more than 400 pieces of human bones were found beneath the above mentioned road.

The other victim whose remains were identified by authorities was Alejandro Castano. His remains were found in the Liberty Street area. The 35-year-old Englewood, N.J.-resident was delivering pens and paper to a firm inside the south tower, according to the Record of Hackensack, N.J.

Authorities didn’t release the names of the other two victims discovered and are waiting for their families to decide if they want to make public the identities. However, authorities have released some details about the remains of the two victims. One of them was a 52-year-old woman and her remains were discovered in the former Deutsche Bank building, while the fourth victim was a 59-year-old man, whose remains were found on Liberty Street.

The search for human remains continues at ground zero. Authorities said approximately 40 percent of the 2,749 people who died in the WTC attacks have yet to be identified.
