Rapper “Birdman” on his real name Bryan
“Baby” Williams numbered among 16 people charged with possession of marijuana Tuesday
in Kingsport Tennessee.
They all were in an RV that was pulled over by the police who
made an improper lane change.

Police Cpl. Tim Horne said he stopped the vehicle after noticing it force a tractor-trailer
into the emergency lane on Interstate 81.
Horne said that he could smell marihuana coming from inside,
when he approached the RV. He was not at all surprised when finding a pound of pot
in a trashcan inside the RV.
Williams, one of the founders of Cash Money Records, 38, his
wife Brittany, 18, and his brother, Ronald Williams, 43, were each charged with
possession of more than ˝ ounce of marijuana. Thirteen other persons, several
of whom are also affiliated with the rap industry and Cash Money Records
founded by Bryan and Ronald Williams.
Police also found an assault rifle, a handgun and a magazine
for a 45-caliber handgun inside the RV. The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and
Firearms is assisting in the investigation due to these facts. No weapons
charges have been filed, TMZ.com reports on their Website.
The group said they were traveling from New
Orleans to New York
for a BET network shoot, according to Horne.
All 16 spent the night in jail on Tuesday.
No Cash Money Records’ representant could be reached for
comments.
