Ronald Fenty told People magazine during a telephone call that he was “behind” Rihanna on “whatever road she chooses.” In addition, the musician’s father said he had not heard of his daughter since earlier this month, when they celebrated her 21^st birthday, and confessed he had only learned about the reunion via media reports.

 

“We are a family who stick together even though we are apart,” he told the publication, adding that Rihanna “was a smart girl.” However, Ronald Fenty would not comment on the attitude of Chris Brown.

 

The interview came just a couple of days after rumors with regard to a Rihanna-Chris Brown reconciliation emerged. The couple reportedly decided to give their relationship another try less than three weeks after the 19-year-old R&B singer allegedly attacked his fellow singer girlfriend.

 

The Barbadian-born beauty, who led charts with hits like “Disturbia,” reunited with Chris Brown, as the two are currently spending time together at one of Sean “Diddy” Combs’ residences on Miami Beach’s Star Island, People magazine announced on its Web site.

 

A source told the magazine that the two were “together again” and that they cared very much “for each other,” adding that Chris Brown was thoughtful and saddened with regard to the February 8 incident in which the singer allegedly assaulted his girlfriend, leaving her with several bruises and scratches to her forehead.

 

The two apparently picked up on their relationship once again after the R&B singer called Rihanna last week in order to congratulate her for her 21^st birthday.
