According to her publicist, Heather Locklear has checked in
an Arizona
medical facility to treat her anxiety and depression.
In a public statement, Locklear’s spokeperson said that the
TV actress requested a evaluation of her medication and she decided to check
into the clinic for proper diagnosis and treatment.
In March, Heather Locklear was involved in a strange
incident. Apparently, someone called 911, reporting that the blonde actress
would try to kill herself, but when the Ventura Fire Department and two
paramedics units arrived at her Woodland Hills home, March 8, they determined
there was no suicide attempt made and left 10 minutes later.
Later, Locklear’s rep confirmed that the actress is fine and
downplayed the rumor that the phone call was made by the actress' psychiatrist.
Locklear, aged 46, has recently appeared on “Rules of
Engagement” and “Hannah Montana,” as the mother of one of the title character’s
friends. She just finished filming “Flying By,” a movie featuring Billy Ray
Cyrus, in which she plays the wife of a real estate developer who reunites his
high-school rock band.
In 2006, the actress ended a 11-year-marriage with Bon Jovi
guitarist Richie Sambora, with whom she has a ten-year-old daughter.
Earlier this month, Richie Sambora checked into
a treatment facility in California
after rumors emerged that the artist had difficulty getting through a studio
taping.
