It seems like we have a classic season on Xbox Live. After
few days ago, Microsoft announced a revamped PacMan for Xbox Live, now another
classic game will delight the proud owners of Xbox 360.
"Prince of Persia Classic," will be available for
download on Xbox LIVE Arcade for Xbox 360
beginning Wednesday, June 1
The game, initially called just “Prince of Persia”, was
originally developed by Jordan Mechner, who used
a technique called rotoscoping, in order to achieve a
natural sense of movement.
“Prince Of Persia” was launched for the PC in 1989 and soon
it became one of the most popular games of all times.
Now dubbed “Prince of Persia Classic," the Xbox LIVE Arcade remake of the original game is based on the same
story. The gamers take on role of the prince as he embarks on a mission to
rescue the princess before she has to wed the wicked Jaffar - all of which must
be accomplished in under 60 minutes
Beside visual enhancements and new traps, puzzles and
enemies “Prince of Persia Classic” features three game modes: Normal Mode: complete
the game as fast as possible, which saves at the end of each level, Time Attach
Mode: Complete the game as fast as possible - but be prepared to start from the
beginning if you fail to save the Princess in under 60 minutes, Survival Mode:
Complete the entire game in under 60 minutes - without dying.
The game costs 800 Microsoft Points and is rated T for Teen.
