Prince Harry Is Condemned for His Racial Slur

Prince Harry isn’t as approached to the people as his mother was. Even if he wanted to show a great bravery when he decided to go to Iraq in 2006, Prince Harry did his own crazy things, including the videotaping of him and his fellow cadets.

And this wouldn’t be such a big mistake if Prince Harry didn’t say the thing he said. While waiting to fly to Cyprus for training exercises, the boys start to make some jokes. But as the camera they were tapping their waiting with zooms one of the squadron members, Harry is heard calling him a “Paki.”

But this wouldn’t be a bad thing either if “Paki” didn’t be a common derogatory term in Britain for people of South Asian descent. So as the camera focuses on the squadron members, Harry is heard saying: “There’s a little Paki.”

The cadet is believed to be a member of Harry’s squadron from Pakistan, named Ahmed Raga Khan. He was awarded with the Overseas Cadet trophy by the Queen at Sandhurst, Britain's elite military college which Prince Harry also attended. But it seems that the prince isn’t so well educated in the end and thus, he didn’t remember who the cadet was and offended him.

In addition, Prince Harry admitted the grouse thing he had said and a spokesman for him announced that he is sorry for using such an offensive term, but that he had no bad intentions. Yet, Kahn's father Muhammad Yaqoob Khan Abbasi, who lives in Pakistan, said that the word “Paki” is a hate word and it shouldn’t be used against any Pakistani.

But this isn’t all. The same video shows Harry while pointing toward another cadet who was wearing mosquito netting and saying that he is "looking like a raghead." This isn’t Harry’s first bad deed. Three years ago, he dressed as a Nazi and went at a costume party and another time, the 24-year-old prince got into a fight with the paparazzi.
