In anticipation of Halo 3's launch, Microsoft decided to cut prices for three games currently delivered to Xbox 360 owners through Xbox Live Arcade and to offer a new downloadable pack for Bomberman.
The price cut fiesta will last for a whole week according to Tom Eberspecher from the Xbox team and will include popular titles like “Bankshot Billiards 2,” “Frogger,” and “Hardwood Spades.”
Bankshot Billiards 2, created by Pixelstorm, will cost "only" 900 Microsoft points starting tomorrow, from the initial 1200 points. The game improves upon the original with nine different game styles: classic 8-Ball, 9-Ball, Cutthroat, Euro 8-Ball, 14.1 Continuous, 3-Ball, Trick Shots, Time Trial, and Golf.
Frogger, one of the most renowned titles ever to be released on Xbox Live Arcade and developed by Konami, will see a 100 MS points reduction starting Wednesday, September 25, while Hardwood Spades, a multiplayer card game that offers customizable backgrounds, card faces, card backs and tables, will enjoy the same price cut.
Fans of one of the oldest and most played games ever- we're talking Bomberman here- will be delighted to find out that Microsoft has also prepared a “Bomb-Up Pack 2”, which is the second add-on pack for “Bomberman Live.” The downloadable content will cost 250 MS points.
