Still recalling the best day of her life, Ellen DeGeneres referred
to the still-in-the-spotlight event on the Web site of her syndicated TV show,
saying, “I had a big weekend.”
“I got married to Portia de Rossi! Sorry, John Stamos … this
one’s taken,” the “Ellen DeGeneres Show” host added.
Furthermore, the 50-year-old stand-up comedian, talk show
host and actress expressed her excitement regarding the recent wedding and even
changed the font on her Web site. She said that she now writes the messages in
a cursive-script-style because it’s fancier and it matches even better her freshly-married
status.
“I do a lot of things differently now ... I say, ‘I do’ a
lot. For example: Who wants to do pilates? I do. Would you like a Mountain Dew?
I do. Do you know why I pulled you over? I do. And that was just this morning,”
she wrote.
In addition to this, she said that she had nothing to
criticize in what concerns Saturday’s ceremony, saying that it lived up to her
and her bride’s expectations. “I wish I could've invited all of you. But I have
some pictures and video I can show you when Season 6 starts on September 8th. I
can't wait to see them too ... it was all a blur,” she told fans.
In an interview with PEOPLE magazine, Ellen DeGeneres said
she was the luckiest woman on earth to be the wife (?) of 35-year-old Portia de
Rossi. “She’s officially off the market. No one else gets her. And now she’ll
cook and clean for me,” DeGeneres told PEOPLE.
Moreover, Portia de Rossi told the same source that the day
she and her long-time lover said “I do” was the most “beautiful and emotional
day.” “And one we’ll never forget,” the former “Ally McBeal” actress added.
