Pop singer Pink and her husband, motorcross racer Carey Hart, have called it quits, although reports about their “rocky marriage” surfaced months ago.

According to the singer’s spokeswoman, “Pink and Carey Hart have separated. This decision was made by best friends with a huge amount of love and respect for one another,” said Michelle Schweitzer, adding, “While the marriage is over, their friendship has never been stronger.”

Their split surely doesn’t come as a surprise, since Pink, 28, confessed back in 2006, during her tour, that she and Hard, 32, fought a lot, and that it helped her creativity. There have also been many rumors of infidelity in their relationship for some time, with Hart supposedly seen out with another woman in a club last summer. However, at that time, Hart dismissed the reports that their marriage was on the rocks saying all the stuff written in the tabloids were “just a bunch of trash talk.”

Most recently, he was spotted in a clinch with a hostess in Las Vegas, when the two posed for photographers in a more than friendly posture.
“It sure didn’t look like he was married that night! He had a cute blonde in a tight dress sitting on his lap all night. They were laughing and drinking vodka with her arms wrapped around him in a corner VIP booth. Carey never mentioned Pink the entire night,” a source told Star magazine in September.

“It seemed like everyone just thought he wasn’t with her anymore, that they had broken up. They were seriously making out. It looked like Pink was definitely not on his mind. When the club closed, he and the blonde left hand in hand. They didn’t look like they were about to say their good-byes!” the source added.

Pink and Hart broke up briefly in 2003, but got back together by 2005, and tied the knot in January 2006 in Costa Rica after Pink proposed to Hart while he was competing in a race. The two have no children together, with Pink saying at one point that she didn’t plan on having kids by comparing herself to fast food, “I’m not a happy meal. Carey’s got the burger, but he isn’t getting the fries and shake to go with it.”
