No one's word is more reliable than Paris Hilton's, when it comes to her own personal life that is. Forget all the rumors about Paris and her ex-boyfriend Stavros Niarchos or Prince William, the starlet called into Ryan Seacrest's radio show on Friday morning to set the record straight on her split from the Good Charlotte rocker.

Don't believe all the stories out there, Paris and Benji are just "taking a break," and she's still "in love" with him, and they remain close friends.

"You know, I love him. He's such an amazing man and he's my best friend and he's been so great to me and so loyal," the hotel heiress told Ryan Seacrest on his KIIS F.M. radio show. "He's an incredible person. We'll always be very close. We'll see what happens in the future. I'm still in love with him."

News broke last week that the pair called it quits after dating for nine months. Some reports suggested Benji was jealous when Paris recently met up with her ex, but according to Paris, she and Stavros just had a "quick conversation" like two adults.

And yet, Paris and Benji still decided to split as they're "both working so much," Paris said, "I've been traveling, he's been working non-stop in the studio."

"There are all these reports saying that I dumped Benji. That's not true. This was a decision we made together as two adults," she added.

As for a future reunion, Paris insisted that they're still "really good friends. We're really close," and they keep in touch, talk and see each other every day. Moreover, Paris admitted she won't be looking for a new man over the holidays either, adding: "I don't wanna date anyone; the thought of that just grosses me out."

In the meantime, Benji refrained from commenting on the breakup, but his twin brother Joel did a little talking for him.

"He’s a good guy and he’ll be fine and she’ll be fine," the Good Charlotte singer told Billy Bush in a new interview for Access Hollywood. "They’ll both be fine. I don’t think at the end of the day anyone reading it was like ‘Oh my gosh! What is he gonna do?’ or ‘What is she gonna do?’ Everyone was kind of like, ‘Oh."
