An obviously happy Paris Hilton emerged from the Lynwood women's jailhouse in Los Angeles on Tuesday after she served her 23-day sentence for violating probation on a driving ban.
Sporting dark slacks, white shirt and a sleeveless top, the 26-year-old heiress crossed a crowd of paparazzi, who gathered for the event in front of the building since Monday, and made her way through a car where her parents were waiting. She gave her mother Kathy a big hug before taking off in their sports utility vehicle.
"I think she's very, very excited to see the family," her mother told People magazine as she arrived at the jail.
"Paris is doing really well, she is really looking forward to going home.
"She wants to be with the family and she can't wait to take that orange suit off," a spokesman for the family added.
Paris is scheduled to make her first television appearance as a free woman on Larry King’s CNN talk show on Wednesday. Her interview for which she won’t get a dime, replaces an already planned appearance of filmmaker Michael Moore’s.
Speaking from behind bars recently, Paris, who lost 10 pounds during this time, said she is looking forward to having a good meal and a good sleep in her bed.
