Pamela Ex-Hasselhoff Bach Booked for Hit-and-Run

David Hasselhoff’s former wife, Pamela Bach, was booked Monday on a hit-and-run charge in Van Nuys, California.

TMZ is first on the scene as usual and informs that Bach, 44, turned herself in to LAPD officers at Van Nuys Jail Monday afternoon.

The lady’s guilty conscience apparently stems from a January incident in which she crashed her white Mercedes into a parked car in the San Fernando Valley and then fled the scene.

The car Bach hit reportedly belongs to 26-year-old Nicole Valdez, who says the damage amounts to $1,377, reports People magazine. Bach was released on her own recognizance yesterday.

In June, the actress pleaded not guilty to the charges. She is due back in court Tuesday and could face up to six months in jail if convicted.

Pamela Bach and her now former husband, “Baywatch” star David Hasselhoff, were making headlines earlier this year with their messy custody case and mutual derogatory accusations.

Married in 1989, the couple has two daughters, Taylor Ann, 17, and Hayley Amber, 15. Hasselhoff obtained sole legal custody and primary physical custody of his two teenage girls in June.

Pamela reportedly has visitation rights: she can visit her daughters on alternate weekends and each Wednesday night for dinner, while the girls can visit their mother whenever they wish to.

The judge’s decision was somewhat unexpected, as an embarrassing, to say the least, video of Hasselhoff had surface on the Internet just weeks earlier, depicting him in a heavily inebriated, incoherent and depressed state.

He was initially blocked from seeing Taylor and Hayley due to the tape. The 54-year-old actor apologized for the incident, admitting he was a recovering alcoholic and emphasizing that his children are the most important for him.

“I thank God for the love and concern from my children,” his apologetic statement said. “I have the respect of my children and my fans, but most importantly I have self respect. I will continue to keep my personal life private for the sake of moving on and living a happy life with my daughters.”

During their custody case, Hasselhoff accused his former wife of substance abuse and bad parenting.

People magazine reports that the two will be in court once again on Jan. 28, when they are to settle their financial situation.
