She has lately been known only for her newly ended marriage
with Rick Salomon, but it seems stars are shining again for Pamela Anderson.
The former “Baywatch” star was invited to star in a new,
documentary-style, E! series about her life.
The series will be produced by the makers of the famous documentaries
“The Eyes of
Tammy Faye” and “Inside Deep Throat.” The latter was a successful
2005 documentary about the pornographic film “Deep Throat” and its effects on
American society. Both documentaries were produced by Fenton Bailey and Randy Barbato.
The two producers expect the show, called “Pamela,” to be a
success.
"Pamela will be an artistically rich and
visually stunning series," executive producer Randy Barbato said,
according to E!
News. "The series will offer an unprecedented look inside the life of
one of today's most iconic superstars in the style of a uniquely shot
documentary film."
E! said the series would help viewers know the “the real woman
behind the famous breasts,” but it would not feature the star’s two children
with ex-husband Tommy Lee.
Anderson was recently in the center of attention when the Las Vegas Review-Journal reported that,
on the occasion of Hugh Hefner’s 82nd birthday, former playmate
Anderson danced in the nude for the Playboy founder.
Anderson launched her career in Playboy magazine, in 1989.
She then became famous after starring in Baywatch and later, in the crime
series V.I.P.
It shouldn’t be a problem for Pamela to have cameras surrounding
her, as she almost lived her life in public, with tabloids always loaded with
juicy details about her failed marriages, her sex-life and, of course, her
breasts.
There also was a big fuss in the media about Anderson when a
sex tape featuring the Baywatch star and Tommy Lee was posted on the Internet
in the late 1990s.
