Palm And Vodafone Unveil Treo500v In Europe

From now on Vodafone’s customers will be able to buy the PalmTreo 500 smartphone which is a perfect device for those who want to access form their mobile phone popular sites such as MySpace, YouTube or eBay.

Based on Windows Mobile 6, Treo500v has a full keyboard, large screen, video streaming capability and a comprehensive multi-messaging functionality covering Instant Messaging, SMS, email and phone. Also, the compact phone offers redesigned information management software.

In addition users can share the Treo 500v smartphone’s data access with a laptop, so they can stay connected anywhere within wireless coverage.

According to Vodafone the Treo 500v, which is available in two colours - glacier white and charcoal grey - will be introduced inGermany, Ireland, Italy, Netherlands, Portugal, Spain and the UK.
The Palm Treo 500v smartphone offers also a 2.0 megapixel camera, which captures video too and 150MB of memory, expandable with microSD expansion card.
