Ozzy Osbourne's Single in Video Game

The famous rock star Ozzy Osbourne decided to lend one of his new singles to the "Madden"ť video game, owned by Electronic Arts. "I Don't Wanna Stop"ť, Ozzy's song, will be listened by the ones who will play "Madden NFL 08"ť. The game will be released on the 14th of August 2007 across all gaming platforms.

In 2006 its predecessor, “Madden NFL 07” sold more than 7 million copies. It was the best selling game in North American. Over the past 18 years the “Madden” franchise sold more than 60 million copies, which meant more than $2 billion in revenue.

Electronic Arts worked with many other popular singers and artists, which lend the game some of their works. Green Day, Snoop Dogg, Foo Fighters are some of these artists. Electronic Arts as well has helped some bands and singers in launching their careers. The now popular bands Franz Ferdinand, Good Charlotte, Artic Monkeys, Jet, Scissor Sister or rapper Fabolous are some the new comers that have been helped by Electronic Arts.

“Madden NFL 08” is being developed in Orlando by Electronic Arts Tiburon and it will be released for PlayStation 3, PlayStation 2, PlayStation Portable, Xbox, Xbox 360, Wii, Nintendo DS and PC.

Ozzy Osbourne was born in 1948 in Birmingham and he was the lead singer of the famous heavy metal band Black Sabbath. He became popular for his appearances with the band, but also for his solo career, as well as for the reality show about his peculiar family, "The Osbournes"ť.
