Osama Lutfi To Keep Away From Britney Spears More Time

It looks like the time out Britney Spears' former manager, Osama Lutfi, was forced to take from her has extended to 30 more days, according to an agreement he and Britney's conservatory reached on Sunday.

The settlement comes one day before attorneys for both Lutfi and Britney's father, Jamie Spears, who is currently in charge of her assets as her co-conservator, were set to face each other in a Los Angeles courtroom where they were expected to discuss the details regarding the temporary restraining order issued against Lutfi in February.

Under the existing order, which expires on Monday, Lutfi, who was once seen constantly by Britney's side, must stay 250 yards away from the troubled pop star and basically have no contact with her at all. The parties agreed to extend that order and a judge is expected to approve it on Monday.

According to TMZ, Lutfi's sudden change of heart about fighting against the order came after a meeting between Lutfi and Britney's conservators last week. Apparently, Lutfi thinks it's the best thing to do for now.

Britney's parents obtained the restraining order early last month following allegations that Lutfi had drugged their daughter, held her hostage and taken over her finances. Lutfi however, was served with it two weeks later, little before the order would have expired. As a result, a judge extended the order until March 17.

Lutfi is not the only person getting a Britney-related slap on the wrist, at least 13 employees at UCLA were fired for looking at her medical records when she was at the psych ward there.

In the meantime, Britney is slowly pulling herself together keeping busy with the shooting for CBS' "How I Met Your Mother," in which she guest stars as a receptionist, and enjoying a lot of quality time with her two boys, Sean Preston and Jayden James.
