Despite the information released by Australia's Sunday Telegraph, Orlando Bloom, the elf Legolas in “The Lord of the Rings” and blacksmith-turned-pirate William Turner in “Pirates of the Caribbean,” is not engaged just yet.

A rep of his girlfriend Miranda Kerr has denied the rumors that the couple got engaged. During the weekend, Australia's Sunday Telegraph reported that Miranda Kerr revealed that she had gotten engaged and that she and Bloom were vacationing in Venice, Italy to celebrate the event.

But her rep said that the story is “completely false and misleading”. “Miranda herself has clearly stated she is not engaged,” her rep added. Orlando Bloom and Miranda Kerr began dating in early 2008.

Orlando Bloom has been involved in a relationship with the American actress Kate Bosworth between 2002 and 2006.

In 2006 Miranda Kerr became the first Australian model to be offered a contract with Victoria's Secret. Two years later, she gained the tenth place in Forbes’s list of of the world's top-earning models.
