Oprah Winfrey Embarrassed By Her Weight

The talk show queen, Oprah Winfrey, discussed on her first episode for the New Year about how she felt after gaining 40 pounds. She has fame and fortune that most people could only dream of, but she also has a well known serious problem with her weight, due to a mild case of depression last year.
She thinks of no better time to start fresh, to start a new struggle with weight gain, but the beginning of the New Year. Therefore, in order to get rid of unhealthy habits that made it possible for her to reach 200 pounds again she seeks help in friend and fitness guru Bob Greene.
He appears on “Oprah” tomorrow to kick off “Best Life Week,” in which Winfrey will help readers develop healthy routines for the new year. She will also come clean about how ashamed she is of herself considering her new look and explain why none of the pictures in O magazine show her figure from head to toes. The show will also contain experts’ advice, including appearances from heart surgeon Dr. Mehmet Oz.
Greene was both sorry and worried about Oprah’s condition, as he stated that "I looked in her eyes, and she wasn't there." Winfrey seemed "very vacant and distracted" and he said it was "alarming" and sad.
Fitness and diet guru Bob Greene has developed a high-profile project for 2009. He engaged to help Oprah get her body back. His opinion about the matter is that Oprah’s struggle is actually a very common one, if it were to ask every woman on Earth and surprisingly, the issue is not food, but rather the balance between diet, exercise and the stresses of daily life. Green’s recommendation for the best results consist of flavorful ingredients and pungent spices to provide the “hit” that people crave from sugary, fatty or salty foods.
Winfrey will debut 5 all-new shows this week on weight, health, spirit, money and sex. She is also expected to attend the Inauguration of the President-elected Barack Obama on the 20th of December, whose campaign she sustained last year. Under these circumstances, she will reportedly broadcast from Washington D.C. that week.
