Just when we thought things had settled down a little in Nadya Suleman’s complicated life, her mom decided to step into the flashlight.
Earlier this week, RadarOnline made an interview with Angela Suleman, who criticized her daughter, Nadya, for giving birth to octuplets without having the means to care for all her children. The interview was posted on RadarOnline on Sunday night but was also picked up by ABC and presented during "Good Morning America." Apparently the network paid a "nominal fee" to license the footage, according to ABC representatives. Morning news programs usually do pay such licensing fees for photos and videos used for skirting news division policies that prohibit paying for interviews.
Joann Killeen, Nadya Suleman's publicist, stated that RadarOnline gave Angela Suleman $40,000 for the exclusive.
And the situation is actually kind of foggy. Nadya Suleman does indeed have 14 children to take care of and serious financial problems. Perhaps her mother is right in criticizing her, but it is a little unclear why she is doing it now, in front of the press and against a certain amount of money.
On the other hand, Nadya exclusively told RadarOnline.com that she had signed a representation deal with Wes Yoder, the president of Ambassador Artist Agency in Nashville. When contacted, Yoder confirmed the fact that he is representing the octuplet mom and that all rumors of a book deal and a reality show are not true. However, the agent said that Nadya did sign an exclusive deal with Polaris photo agency.
