members of Xbox
LIVE.
Beginning today, consumers of all ages will have access to a
growing catalog of new and classic movies from The Walt Disney Studios

Pictures' "Deja Vu."
According to Microsoft, Xbox LIVE has close to 7 million members and is currently offering more than 2,350

"Xbox 360 and Xbox LIVE Marketplace truly offer
something for everyone of all ages, gender or personal taste," said Peter
Moore, corporate vice president of the Interactive Entertainment Business in
the Entertainment and Devices Division at Microsoft. "With this
partnership, we are able to feature blockbuster new releases as they become
available, as well as an incredible array of classic family films that made
Disney the icon it is today."
The new HD movies, which can watched for 24 hours after
downloading before they expire, will cost 480 Microsoft points. Those in standard-definition
run 320 points, while older ones are priced 360 and 240 points.
Microsoft launched its Xbox 360 in November 2005 and for the
moment is the leader of the next-gen gaming console market with 5.6 million
units sold only in US. Overall, Microsoft is credited with close to 12 million
units sold.
