Nick Bollea, Hulk Hogan's son, who is currently serving a
sentence of 8 months in prison for a crash which led to a serious injury of a
friend of his, has had enough of solitary confinement.
Just in time, because Bollea was transferred out of solitary
confinement and will finally make human contact.
According to The Associated Press, Hulk Hogan's was transferred
into a communal cell. The 17-year-old teenager has to share his “room” with three
other inmates.
Florida's
Pinellas County Sheriff's Office said that he was transferred at 4:30 p.m.
Thursday and his cell was going to be supervised 24 hours a day.
He was sent in confinement because he was too young to join
the jail's general population.
In August last year, the 17-year-old Nick Hogan—real name
Nick Bollea— was street racing with his yellow Toyota Supra against a silver
Dodge Viper, at speeds of over 60 mph through a 40 mph zone, when he lost
control of his car, struck a curb and spun 180 degrees across two lanes of
traffic before slamming rear-end first into a palm tree. His friend, John
Graziano, 22, who was on the passenger seat, was left with permanent brain damage.
Bollea was arrested in November and charged with felony
reckless driving that caused a serious bodily injury. Following the impact,
Graziano, a former Marine who served in Iraq, needs lifetime medical care
after suffering a broken skull and other severe injuries.
