It seems that Nicole Richie has finally given it up, as she has confirmed the rumors that have been going round her for months! Yes, she is pregnant and yes, it is Joel Madden’s child. The actress has confessed these facts to ABC News’ Diane Sawyer during an interview that it is to be aired this week. Nicole Richie has even said that she is pregnant for almost four month with Good Charlotte’s lead singer’s child. The actress’ confession must have delighted all of the ones who have started to spread the rumors.

However, rumors are maybe the most annoying part of being a public person. Common people are able only to imagine how it is to be stuck in your life, without having the right to make a mistake or to behave just like a normal, common fellow. No matter how bad they have gone wrong, the stars are immediately the subject of the newspapers’ headlines and all the talk showers and reporters are talking about them. Sometimes, the rumors are making a public person’s guilt to sound even worse than it is and sometimes the rumors are just not true.

In Nicole Richie’s case they were right; the 25-year-old actress is pregnant. The actress, however, has had also another confession to make during the interview with ABC News’ Diane Sawyer and this has really come unexpectedly: "I have a responsibility and it's something that I did wrong, and if I could personally apologize to every single person that has lost a loved one from drunk driving, I would. […] And unfortunately I can't, but this is my way of paying my dues and taking responsibility and being an adult." – said “The Simple Life” actress related to her guilty plea to driving under the influence of drugs.
