Nicole Kidman, the intriguing Aussie actress, has been one of Hollywood’s best discoveries. She can play a wide array of characters, from a cabaret dancer and courtesan in “Moulin Rouge!” to a strict mother in denial in “The Others” or Virginia Woolf in “The Hours.” Nothing seems too complicated or deep for Nicole Kidman.
Her divorce from Tom Cruise was one of the most decent in Hollywood, but the credit in that case goes to both of the famous actors, as they both were respectful towards one another. Together they adopted two children, named Isabella Jane and Connor Anthony. Except for her acting career, Kidman is also a UN Citizen of the World, a Goodwill Ambassador for both UNIFEM and UNICEF and was made a Companion of the Order of Australia. She was nominated for an Academy Award for “Moulin Rouge!”, but won an Oscar for her performance in “The Hours”.
After her divorce from Tom Cruise, Nicole Kidman had several relationships with a couple of stars. There rumors about her and Jude Law, denied by both, and also about her and Adrien Brody. She dated Lenny Kravitz for about a year, and then Robbie Williams said they had a “short romance”.
But then Nicole met Keith Urban, the well-known country singer, and got married in 2006. In 2008, Nicole Kidman gave birth to their first child, a girl, whom they named Sunday Rose Kidman Urban. Recently, at the Glamour Women of the Year Awards, Nicole Kidman confessed that she would like to have more kids, but thought that saying if she wants to adopt or not was a private matter. She also said that to her, the mother is the “heartbeat of the family.”
