Natasha Richardson critically injured in ski accident

San Francisco - Actress Natasha Richardson was in serious condition at a Montreal hospital Tuesday after suffering head injuries Monday afternoon in a skiing accident, according to Canadian news reports.

The British actress, 45, is a member of the Redgrave acting dynasty and the wife of Liam Neeson. She suffered the injury at the Mont Tremblant ski resort in Quebec, according to People magazine online.

The accident was first reported by the news site IrishCentral.com. Neeson left a Toronto movie shoot for Atom Egoyan's "Chloe" to be at her side in Montreal, the CTV network reported.

Neeson and Richardson, who have been married since 1994, have two sons, Micheal Richard Antonio, 13, and Daniel Jack, 12.
