In a recent interview for the British edition of GQ magazine
Naomi Campbell gets in the role of the reporter and interviews Venezuelan
leader Hugo Chavez.
The 37-year-old supermodel succeeded in addressing the
president various questions and found out that Chavez likes Prince Charles and
that he thinks the most fashionable leader is Cuba’s Fidel Castro, according to
the Associated Press.
Last month Chavez lost a referendum thus losing a chance at
expanding is powers.
He gave Naomi his opinion on many subjects.
Chavez told the supermodel that he finds U.S. President
George W. Bush “completely crazy. But he's on his way out.”
“We're seeing the fall of the empire. ... Like the fairy
tale, the emperor is naked,” ha added.
At Naomi’s question regarding the most fashionable leader in
the world, President Chavez answered that Fidel Castro is the one.
He said: “His uniform is impeccable. His boots are polished,
his beard is elegant."
He was also asked if he would appear in photographs without his
shirt like Russian President Vladimir Putin did. Chavez answered that he would
do it and then asked Naomi to touch his muscles.
Chavez confessed that he has been monitoring the come back
of the Spice Girls, The New York Daily News said.
He also said that he likes Prince Charles and thinks he is a
swell guy.
Chavez said: "I like the Prince. Now he has Camilla,
his new girl. She's not as attractive, is she?"
The whole interview with President Chavez will be published in
the GQ’s February issue which will be released on Thursday.
Naomi says about Chavez that he is a “rebel angel” who is
“fearless, but not threatening or unreasonable.”
According to Dylan Jones, GQ editor, Campbell will also try to interview Castro
and French President Nicolas Sarkozy.
Regarding Campbell Jones said: “I think she has a natural
flair for it and is tremendously engaging with people - also, she gets them to
talk. I mean, who wouldn't want to meet Naomi? Even Socialist dictators have an
interest in gorgeous supermodels."
