While Lindsay Lohan and her gal pal DJ Samantha Ronson are keeping mum regarding the nature of their relationship despite rumors claiming they're dating, close friends of the two think they're a "lovely couple."

After going on a double date with Lindsay and Samantha, lingerie model Daisy Lowe, who is dating Samantha's brother music producer Mark Ronson, told British tabloid The Mirror that Lindsay and Samantha are really "sweet" together.

"Sam is an amazing girl. The four of us had a brilliant time - a real laugh," Lowe told the newspaper.

"Lindsay is really down to Earth," she continued, "Her and Sam make a lovely couple - they seem really happy. Their relationship is totally genuine. And they're just so sweet together."

Reports that Lindsay and Samantha are a couple started making waves after they were photographed numerous times cuddling and kissing in recent months. The duo were photographed for the first time cuddling at a party on P. Diddy's yacht in Cannes. They have also been spotted together in New York, Los Angeles, and Chicago.

Moreover, while at the Sephora Celebrates Ten Years of Glamorous event, Lohan's mom Dina insisted she is happy as long as her daughter is.

"I love Samantha. She’s like a child to me. They’re great friends and as long as my daughter is happy and healthy, it is what it is," she told reporters.
