Geneva  - Car parts supplier Mila showcased in Geneva the Mila EV with a modular concept including a fully-integrated electric platform that can serve as a base for several different vehicles and allow for conversion to natural gas, fuel cell and hybrid drive.

The car on show at the Geneva Motor Show is a five-door hatchback with flowing lines and plenty of glass with a continuous line linking the headlights with the side windows. A design element is the sensor stripe on the flanks which acts both as a door opener and battery load indicator.

Solar panels are integrated into the roof providing extra energy. The vehicles measures 3.86 metres in length with a width of 1.68 metres and a height of 1.53 metres.

The Mila EV is powered by a 50 kW electric motor linked to a 10 kWh lithium-ion battery. An average loading time of 2.5 hours gives the car a range of 150 kilometres. The top speed is listed at 120 km/h. The hybrid version has an additional V2 engine with 34 hp, a generator and a 12 litre fuel tank.
