Miley Cyrus' album released today, "Breakout", is supposed to be more "mature" and to be the teen singer's, well, breakout. Unfortunately, although she displays strong vocals, the songs she supposedly wrote are quite mediocre, with cliche themes, trying to picture an implausible image of her.
The latest album by Miley Cyrus is just an attempt to emulate what she thinks is going on in the mind of an average teen girl. The problem is that neither her nor her staff have any real clue about it, so they do guesswork, trying to cover as much a range as possible.
They threw everything in: rebellion against school and parents, text messages, teen bore, breaking up, that kind of stuff. It's not the actual content, but the way its is all put together that reveals its inner fakeness.
Nevertheless, fans will be pleased, as the album uses the same musical templates as her past records.
The track list is as follows:
1. Breakout
2. 7 Things
3. Driveway
4. Girls Just Wanna Have Fun
5. Full Circle
6. Fly On The Wall
7. Bottom Of The Ocean
8. Wake Up America
9. These Four Walls
10. Simple Song
11. Goodbye
12. See You Again (Rock Mafia Remix)
Earlier this month, Miley Cyrus was spotted chilling out on the beach with some friends in between takes while shooting the new Hannah Montana movie in Malibu. The highly anticipated film, which finds Hannah Montana struggling to get some perspective on what matter in life the most as popularity takes over her life, hits the big screen on May 1, 2009.
Miley Cyrus caused uproar when she posed in a sexy posture in a Annie Leibovitz photoshoot for Vanity Fair, showing the young star barely covered by a sheet, back bared and displaying a seductive look. The photo was called a blatant bedroom shot by several journalists.
Despite her apologies over the photoshoot for Vanity Fair, the teen sensation's leaked racy photos, which keep coming almost each month, show that her squeaky-clean image and innocent talk in interviews is just for show.
