The soon-to-be First Lady of the United States, Michelle Obama, gained a lot of attention at the Kids’ Inaugural Concert, even if the main stars of the event were Demi Lovato, Bow Wow and Miley Cyrus. Yet, maybe the Jonas Brothers were a little ahead of Michelle Obama, but nevertheless, the audience enjoyed her speech very much.
Even Sasha Obama took out her camera to capture the boys from the Jonas Brothers’ performance at the D.C.’s Verizon Center stadium. Moreover, the atmosphere at the event was truly spectacular.
Sasha, Malia and Michelle Obama together with the girls’ grandmother Marian and Jill Biden got into the atmosphere while rocking and singing the chorus of every song. Michelle Obama told the audience that the children are the real future of America and the people has so many magnificent ways to contribute to their development and to the life of this nation.
The show seemed to look alike the “High School Musical” franchise and it honored military families from America, including their children. Miley Cyrus, the star from “Hannah Montana” opened the concert dressed in a cranky T-shirt and painted jeans before she high-fived with Sasha and Malia.
At the end of her performance Miley told the First Daughters that they should be really proud of their father as she is too. “So I'm going to bring my dad out to join the fun,” Miley said before Billy Ray Cyrus went up on stage.
George Lopez, Queen Latifah, Rosario Dawson, Usher and Jamie Foxx where the other adults who joined the show and honored the military families and the election of the new president. Yet, nothing compared to the cries which almost drowned the single “Love Bug” from the Jonas Brothers.
The First Lady was wearing a bright turquoise dress and yellow cardigan and brought her girls in the front row to feel the beat of the concert. Yet, the joy hasn’t end here as there is much more to come on Tuesday in Queens because of the Inauguration Day.
Barack Obama already held his inaugural speech two days ago at Lincoln Memorial, where stars like Mary J. Blige welcomed his arrival in the Oval Office. Today, he makes history not only all over the United States, but in the entire world. He is the nation’s first black president and the first President who has been so close to the big cities.
Obama attended college in New York and went to law school in Boston before practicing in Chicago during the years of his career. He is just the kind of president needed for the people in Queens, for example, who joyfully salute the 44th President of the United States.
