Michael Jackson, the King of Pop, has had numerous health issues along the years. Some of them, such as the fact that he suffers from vitiligo, have been hidden from the public for many years.

The fact that Michael Jackson’s skin and features have become overly Caucasian over the years has lead the public to believe that the King decided to become white instead of remaining African-American. Even after news and information about his disease were released to the public, people still believed that his whitening was a result of elective surgeries. Their opinion was backed up by the transformations suffered over the years by Jackson’s nose, which has ultimately led to him wearing a mask.

His negative popularity increased with the trials where he was accused of molesting several children that visited his famous Peter-Pan-inspired, multi-million ranch, Neverland.

Lately, additional health issues have surfaced about the King of Pop. Apparently, Michael Jackson has a rare respiratory condition, as it was revealed by the author of Michael Jackson’s new biography. It seems that the condition has been aggravated as of late, and the singer may even be fighting for his life.

The condition Michael Jackson has been diagnosed with is Alpha 1-antitryspin deficiency. The condition is a genetic one, which sometimes is potentially fatal. He also suffers from emphysema and chronic gastrointestinal bleeding, which may render the singer too weak to undergo a lung transplant.
