Actors Angelina Jolie and James McAvoy respected the Hollywood custom of expressing their impressions about the movie in which they just stared together, in this case - “Wanted”.
Probably the most unexpected thing said by both actors was McAvoy’s remark that kissing Jolie was “not very nice”. The Scottish actor told In Touch Weekly that kissing the sex symbol was actually “awkward, sweaty and not very nice.” He added that Brad Pitt shouldn’t feel threatened for one moment because of the kiss.
“There was angst involved in that [kiss],” said McAvoy.
However, both actors found their love on the set. Angelina Jolie met Brad Pitt when filming “Mr and Mrs Smith”, while McAvoy met his wife Anne-Marie Duff when playing a couple on a BBC drama called “Shameless!”
On the other hand, Jolie didn’t mention the kiss scene; probably because she wasn’t asked to talk about it. She said she loved being “foxy” in this film.
"I miss the action, playing and shooting things up. I love that stuff, I do," said Jolie.
She will next star in "Changeling", a more serious mystery film directed by Clint Eastwood.
“Wanted”, a movie based on the graphic novels by Mark Millar and J.G. Jones and directed by Kazakhstan-born director Timur Bekmambetov, follows the improbable change of Wesley Gibson (James McAvoy) from a sad man working in a cubicle to a master assassin.
Jolie plays the appropriately named Fox who snatches Wesley from his monotonous life and introduces him to a secret society of highly trained killers called The Fraternity. If you wonder why Fox would ever pick a cubicle worker to enter such an organization, well - Wesley’s recently murdered father was the best killer of The Fraternity.
