Eight years and one gaming studio later, Max Payne, the noir-detective is ready to fight again with the mobsters, his inners demons and God and Rockstar knows whom else.

 

Sam Houser, founder of Rockstar Games, announced today that the Max Payne 3 will be released this winter and it will feature a more cynical than ever Max Payne. This is probably the part where you should right more violet, but let’s not speculate.

 

He will be also a few years older and the game story is set a few years after the events of Max Payne 2: The Fall of Max Payne. The game will be released for PC, Xbox 360 and PS3, but Rockstar Canada was scarces on another details, but as the game is set after Max Payne 2 I bet we will get to see again Mona Sax. As you might remember, Max Payne 2 had a hidden ending in which Mona survives.

 

However, I can’t wait to see how the new Max Payne will look like especially because the first two games were developed by Remedy Entertainment and the current one is created by Rockstar Vancouver.

 

I hope just one thing: that will be better that last year’s homonymous movie.
