Velvet Revolver frontman Scot Weiland and Mary Forsberg have been married since 2000 and have two young kids, ages 6 and 4. Their relation became somewhat more ‘exciting’ this weekend, as the two were reportedly involved in some serious arguing.

On Saturday the two were involved in an incident at The Graciela luxury hotel in Burbank, where they were staying with the kids and a personal assistant. There was some serious damage to one of the rooms, though hotel officials have not specified what it amounts to. Later that day, this time at the Weiland home in Burbank, Mary set some $10,000 worth of her husband's clothes and shoes on fire on the front lawn, police said on Monday.

According to police, she was arrested, booked at the Burbank jail, and subsequently released on $50,000 bond. No further details were released on the arson. “Mrs. Weiland voluntarily came to the Burbank police station, where she was interviewed by detectives,” Burbank police Sgt. Mathew Ferguson said. “Scott Weiland arrived at the station with his attorney a short time later.” Detectives determined that the couple had argued and that Mrs. Weiland caused the damage to the hotel, Ferguson said.

Also, while Mary was busy putting things on fire, Scott and the children were not at home. Mary Weiland was arrested for vandalism because the clothes were not her own, Ferguson explained. And she was busted for arson because, property rights or no, “you can't burn stuff willy-nilly.” Mary Weiland is scheduled to be arraigned in the arson and vandalism case on May 7, police said.
