Mariah Carey seems to care a great deal about her public image. She actually cares so much that she has not forgiven her husband yet for confessing their wait-for-the-wedding-night agreement.

The 38-year-old singer, who tied the knot with Nick Cannon in April, does not approve of the fact that her spouse offered the media information on their sex life. According to the San Francisco Gate, she said that although they had not established to conceal the pact, she was disappointed that he revealed such details to the press.

Mariah Carey nevertheless informed the same source that she and Nick Cannon had had personal relationships before their wedding, but these moments “weren’t completely intimate in the biblical sense.”

Recent reports speculate that Mariah Carey and her hubby may be expecting a baby and the star’s appearance on Ellen DeGeneres’ show on Wednesday did nothing but fuel those rumors, with the host trying to get the words out of the singer’s mouth.

Although Mariah Carey denied the allegations, she faced an embarrassing situation when she had to refuse a glass of champagne. Ellen DeGeneres had proposed a toast and Mariah Carey declined the offer, stating that champagne was “fattening.”

She could have found a better line, if you ask me.

When the host insisted, the singer said that it was too early for her to drink, as she only consumed alcoholic beverages after 3 p.m.

And to bring those rumors to an end, Mariah Carey’s spokeswoman announced that the star was not pregnant.
