A big diamond wedding ring on the finger at the TriBeCa Film Festival set out rumors that Mariah Carey is engaged to actor Nick Cannon.

The 38-year-old singer and song righter has been dating Cannon since they met on the set of hers last video. The couple attended the TriBeCa Film Festival to promote their forthcoming movies.

Canon, 27, a star of MTV's Wild & Out, came to the film festival to endorse his latest role in “Ball Don’t lie”, while Carey came for her role in the movie “Tennessee”.

The two stars held hands at the festival’s after-party. Mariah wasn’t shy at all about the new jewel. She gladly showed it off her huge diamond ring that caught the attention of many.

According to a recent report from People magazine, the couple took a private jet into Las Vegas. The two were seen getting intimate in a VIP section of a nightclub.

Mariah Carey has been married with Tommy Mottola. The two got married in 1993 three years after Mariah made her debut under Mottola’s guidance. They divorced in 1998.

Last year, Nick Cannon called off his engagement to model Selita Ebanks. During an interview with MTV US, he did everything he could to avoid a confirmation of the relationship with Carey. However, he gave a hint: “Rumours happen”.
