It seems that
there are two types of people that can earn lots of money without striving too
much. The actors could be considered as making part from the first category,
because they like too much their job. They just love it and seem not to
consider it in fact a job; for them acting appears to be a way of living their
lives.
On the other
hand, the high-class thieves make part from the second category. Between these
two types of rich people it doesn’t seem to be too much difference. Both the
actors and the thieves’ categories love their career; they all earn a lot of
money from it, and they all are life-long learners. However, the most important
difference between an actor and a high-class thief is that the thief could be
making its money by stealing from the actor.
At least this
has been the case of David Hans Schmidt, who could be considered a high-class
thief, as he’s occupation was trafficking photos of the celebrities. However,
it seems that the guy hasn’t learned too much about the FBI’s secret ways of
tracking down people and he has been forced to give away his job for some time
in prison.
David Hans
Schmidt has been finally arrested by the FBI agents after he reportedly tried
to sell Tom Cruise the photos of the actor’s November 2006 wedding to actress
Katie Holmes. He demanded more than $1 million for the photos, which had been
stolen from the actor’s private collection.
Although
neither Tom Cruise nor Katie Holmes had an official comment about this fact,
the actor’s attorney said that the thief first approached Cruise earlier this
year, telling him that he had the photos from the wedding and that he wanted to
deal. Then Tom Cruise reportedly contacted the federal authorities.
David Hans Schmidt is now being
held on a $100,000 bond.
