Taking pictures with your cell phone is a convenient habit, but you should definitely think about what would happen to those photos in case you lose your gadget.

That’s why there are certain photos that should be stored in a safe place and not on your cell phone.

Associated Press is running a story about a Arkansas man, Phillip Sherman, who accidentally forgot his phone at a McDonald's in Fayetteville.

The good news is that the man eventually retrieved his phone, but the bad news is that the nude photos of his wife (which were stored on the cell phone) were posted online.

On Friday, Phillip Sherman has filed a lawsuit against McDonald's Corporation and the store manager.

Shortly after the incident with the phone, the Shermans began receiving offensive calls and text messages. The couple discovered that the photos from Philip’s phone were posted online together with the phone number and their address.

They had no other chance to stop the calls than to move to a new home. The couple seeks $3 million in damages for embarrassment, emotional distress and damage to their reputations.

Associated Press noted that the company officials declined to comment on the case.
