Everybody
knows Madonna is always full of surprises and has something up her sleeve, even
when it seems there's nothing she could do to leave her fans dumb with
astonishment once again.
The iconic
singer has pulled rabbit after rabbit out of her hat, enough to start a farm
and has yet to let the curtain fall upon her fame and glory, which has been on
the rise ever since she released her first album back in 1983.
This year,
the Material Girl kicked off her “Sticky and Sweet” tour at the
end of August at the Millennium Stadium in Cardiff,
Wales
with a political statement that was hard to miss. During the first concert,
images of Adolf Hitler and Robert Mugabe were displayed alongside some
others featuring senior United States Senator from Arizona John McCain,
Madonna having then made it clear whom she would vote for in the 2008 United
States presidential elections.
Now that her favourite candidate Barack Obama has won the
elections and her political views are old news, she has planned another major
surprise for the concert that is to end the aforementioned tour.
Madonna has revealed that Thursday night at Dodger Stadium, Los
Angeles, she would be joined on stage by both Britney Spears and Justin Timberlake,
who used to be an item back in the days. The two have had individual collaborations
with the singer and there’s probably nobody who doesn’t remember the lip-lock between
her and Brit (and also Christina Aguilera, for that matter) at the 2003 MTV
Video Music Awards.
Moreover, Madonna has told fans to come prepared for even
more surprises during her Thursday show.
Oh, and maybe someone could bring some carrots for the
rabbits this time.
