While keeping everyone guessing about the nature of their relationship, Madonna and Yankee's Alex Rodriguez are wasting no time being together.
Things between the recently divorced pop queen and the baseball player seem to be progressing smoothly as the two are being spotted in the proximity of each other quite often lately.
Rodriguez, who was spotted making late-night visits to Madonna's New York apartment earlier this year, traveled to Mexico City over the weekend where Madonna had scheduled two back-to-back gigs part of her current "Sticky & Sweet" tour. Apparently, the baseball star was in the Mexican capital on Sunday to spend time and share his sports knowledge with children at a new sports center built on a landfill in the poor suburb of Nezahualcoyotl.
Asked how he felt about being in the same place and Madonna, the Bombers' cleanup hitter only said "very good." Speaking to reporters in Spanish, the player said it was a pleasure to talk about baseball, and the "importance of keeping children off the streets, out of drugs and out of all the bad things that there are in this life."
The recent rendezvous comes just days after reports suggested the two spent Thanksgiving together in Miami. The two reportedly got together after Madonna's Miami concert, where A-Rod was spotted cheering for her and handed her a bottle of water during her performance.
Rodriguez, who's worth over $250 million, made headlines several months ago when his wife Cynthia decided to file for divorce amid rumors of an affair with Madonna, which they both strongly denied at the time.
