According to E! News reports from Friday, Tom Brady finally got the guts to fill up a private plane with white roses and champagne while he proposed to his longtime girlfriend, supermodel Gisele Bundchen, on Christmas’ Eve. As TMZ.com also reported, the 28-year-old Brazilian-born Bundchen said yes to Brady, famous for his successful plays with the New England Patriots.

While the supermodel’s parents witnessed the event and watched over the 31-year-old quarterback from NEP, Brady asked Bundchen to be his wife immediately after their private plane took off from Teterboro Airport from New Jersey. They were all going on a flight to Boston. What we don’t know is whether Brady kneed when he had proposed Bundchen.

Other rumors spread the news that the couple were planning to get married in Costa Rica, where the 28-year-old supermodel has a vacation house. Yet, neither Brady nor Bundchen were reached for a confirmation of the good news. But Stacey James, spokesman for NEP, stated that when Brady would want everybody to know such details about his intimate life, he would personally talk to the journalists.

In addition, immediately after the reported engagement, Brady, Bundchen and her parents got out from Brady’s Back Bay townhouse and hopped into an idling Town Car, while Bundchen had no ring on her finger. Neither Will McDonough, Brady’s assistant, wanted to make further comments on the issue.

Brady won the Super Bowl three times but has been put on the waiting line since he had blown out his knee at the beginning of the season. The relationship he has with Bundchen started out two years ago, shortly after Brady had ditched his pregnant former girlfriend, Bridget Moynahan, with whom he had spent three years.
