I think you already know Lost’s main rule: for each question answered, let’s create a hundred new ones. And the last episode made no exception. With Ji Yeon, we are ready to find out about one more person who seems to have escaped The Island and made it on the Oceanic 6 list. It’s the seventh episode of the season and so far we know that Hurley, Sayid, Jack and Kate are the lucky (or not?) survivors who are back in the real life. And now we have one more name: Sun. 

But first thing's, first! The episode opens on the freighter with Frank Lapidus, the helicopter pilot, who is on his way to pay a visit to Sayid and Desmond. They are locked in a room, and a strange character, Regina, seems to guard them, although it is not clear why.

As Frank enters the room, he tells to the two Losties that the captain is upset, because they escaped from the infirmary and used the ship’s communications system.

However, Frank gives them several containers of black beam and then he leaves the room, but, boy, there’s definitely something creepy with this freighter.

Meanwhile, we are back on The Island, in Jack’s camp where Jin and Sun are discussing about the freighter and the baby. Jin says he is sure that Sun will have a girl and he already thought of a name: Ji Yeon. Sun worries about Desmond and Sayid and it seems like she has some doubts that the freighter is indeed in a rescue mission. And from what we saw earlier, she might be right. 

The first flash-forward, we see Sun, who is dressing up and applying some lipstick, when she enters into labor. She calls an ambulance, but the scene ends and now we see a happy, sharp-dressed Jin with a new haircut who is looking to buy a Panda bear. We assume that he knows about Sun, but don’t rush to conclusions, because there are a lot of things waitin’ to happen.

Back on The Island, Kate tells Sun and Jin the story about The Tempest station and the lethal gas and now Sun has some serious doubts about the freighter and the men who arrived on The Island.

Back on the ship, Sayid and Desmond receive a mysterious note, saying “Don’t trust the captain!” Good, this means that later on the captain should step in.

On The Island, Sun confronts Daniel about his real mission and after he babbles something like the rescue mission is not his decision, Sun reaches to a conclusion: she has to protect the baby and Locke’s camp seems like the perfect place (at least for the moment).

But when Juliet finds out that Sun and Jin are ready to leave the beach, she is determined to stop them from joining Locke’s losties. She tells Sun that she will die, The Island kills pregnant women.

However, another flash-forward kicks in and Sun is ready to give birth in a hospital where a nurse says she is one of the Oceanic 6. Well, but where is Jin? Apparently, he is having some troubles to put his newly-bought Panda bear in a cab. As he is busy speaking on the cell phone, an unknown man steps in his cab. A furious Jin kicks back in to the store for another Panda and he heads towards the hospital.

On The Island, Juliet proves that she is ready to do whatever it takes to stop Sun from going to Locke’s camp and she tells Jin about Sun’s affair. Jin is mad, Sun is furious and slaps Juliet, but the blonde woman has achieved her goal. The family is back on the beach and Jin goes fishing with Bernard, leaving Sun behind, who cries and asks forgiveness.

In a touching scene, Bernard divulges to Jin that his wife is sick of cancer, but she is better since when their plane crushed, but they are ready to stay with Jack and leave the Island because this is the right thing. Bernard shares with Jin his inner belief that everything happens because of Karma. “If you make bad choices, bad thing happens to you”, says Bernard.

Back on the freighter, Sayid and Desmond are facing their choices as the captain calls them on the bridge.

While they are ready to meet the captain, Regina, the woman who guarded them, steps on the upper bridge wearing a heavy chain. She jumps right into water, but when Desmond and Sayid rush to save her, the captain stops them saying “It’s over! She’s gone!” Whaattt? Who in the hell are those people, because they're definitely not here to help.

But the captain is ready to tell a story. He takes Desmond and Sayid back in his cabin to show them the black box of Oceanic 815, retrieved from the wreckage of the plane which is laying on the bottom of the ocean. There are exactly 324 bodies, which are sleeping their final sleep, and now one thing is clear: for the rest of the word, the Losties are lost forever.

But there is a man, Charles Widmore, Peeny’s father, who believes otherwise. He knows that the plane wreckage is just a setup and the man responsible is Benjamin Linus. Widmore has sent the freighter and a new question pops in: “Where exactly does one come across 324 bodies?” Well, we know already that this is not a real problem for Ben, who was already labeled as a mass-murder after he killed the Dharma members. Anyway, maybe the Dharma members are down in the plane. And why create such a cover up? Bodies or no bodies, Ben or not, the episode is ready to get even more twisted.

On The Island Juliet tells Sun she has three more weeks to live, but we know she made it and in a flash-forward she gives birth to a baby girl, but Jin is nowhere to be seen. Maybe he is having troubles again with the Panda?

Anyway, the episode is rushing to its Grand Finale: on the freighter Desmond and Sayid are ready to meet the janitor, Kevin Johnson, who is in fact Michael (with a new haircut and looking better) and who is surely Ben’s spy on the ship. Well, this is not so unexpected, because it was revealed that Harold Perrineau will be brought back. Sayid decides not to blow his cover as he shakes his hand in a “Glad to meet you for the firs time!” move.

On The Island, Jin forgives Sun and she swears the baby is his. Finally, we get a new flash-forward in which Jin is rushing through the hospital’s halls with the Panda under his arm. But….waittt….what is this? We are not in a flash-forward, this is a flash-back. Jin is delivering a gift to China’s ambassador from his father-in-law. He just married Sun, two months earlier and they are not thinking about having a baby yet. This means…

…that we are ready for another flash-forward in which Hurley visits Sun to see the newborn. He is only one, who decided to pay a visit, which tells a lot about the relations between the Oceanic 6.

All three are heading to a graveyard where is buried…Jin. Sun cries and in a scene that deserves an Emmy award she tells that the baby’s name is Ji Yeon. The scenes with Jin were all flash-backs. Apparently, he never lived to see his baby girl. Hey JJ , hey Damon don’t you have a heart? How could you write something like this? Like Lost wasn’t depressing enough with all those deaths.

Let me guess, the story behind the last Lost episode was something like this: Lindelof to Abrams: Hey, JJ, so far we had flash-backs then we moved to flash-forwards. Dude, we need a new idea! And we definitely should kill another Lostie. Abrams to Lindelof: Yeah Damon, you’re perfectly right! You know what? Let’s mix the flash-backs with the flash-forwards. What do you say? Lindelof: Yeah, this is a pretty nice idea. And we will kill Jin, what do you say? Abrams: Ok, man, let’s do it we will surely break some hearts! Guys, I hate you for this one!
