Lohan Talks About The New Lindsay

Six months after leaving rehab, Hollywood actress Lindsay Lohan is finally speaking about how she ditched her party girl habits.

The 21-year-old starlet opened up about her life post-rehab, her struggle with Hollywood’s temptations and more, in a recent interview with UK Glamour magazine.

“I don’t think it’s just young Hollywood - it’s the process of growing up. I’ve learned the hard way but, all in all, you learn and you grow and you become a stronger person,” Lohan said, adding that a very important part in her recovery was ditching the wrong kind of friends.

“There are friends that have been hard to hang out with because they've gone done a different path,” she said in the interview for the magazine’s March issue. “But it's hard because I'm the kind of person who wants to trust everyone.”

“I like having friends around me, but now I’d much rather be at home. That’s not to say I’ll never go to a club again, because I’d be lying,” she explained, “I’m fine being alone during the day, but I hate being alone at night.”

Asked what she believes is the biggest misconception others have about her, Lohan replied: “That I don't have my head in the right place. That, and probably that I'm not a good person ... because actually I am.”

Continuing her media comeback, Lohan took on the new issue of Harper’s Bazaar, talking more about her life after her two-month stay at the Cirque Lodge rehab facility in Utah following her second DUI arrest in less than two months.

“I have it in me to go, go, go. I’m still young. I love life. I love music and being around that. I love people, and I’m a very social person. But I also love being home, quiet and normal…I’ve always been a homebody…Seriously…I was just running away from what my home had become,” the “Mean Girls” star said.

“When I look back on this last year, it’s like, what was I thinking?”

“The cameras are constantly there, and they’re constantly looking for the negative. So one roll of the eyes and you’re deemed drunk. One wrong step, your ankle twists, and you’re drunk. They can declare, ‘Lindsay drunk in the day!’ Which I never was in my life, actually.” Lohan explained.

The “Georgia Rule” star has two projects coming up, one where she plays a woman who kills homeless men to claim their life insurance, and another where she plays a prostitute.
