Liza Minelli is one of America’s best known singers, doubling her notoriety by also having a career as an actress. She was born in 1946 and is the daughter of another famous actress and singer, namely Judy Garland, with her second husband, the film director Vincente Minelly. As acknowledgment of her talents, she received an Academy Award in 1972 for her performance in “Cabaret”, three Tony Awards, an Emmy Award, a Grammy Award and a Golden Globe.

She was born in Hollywood, California, in an already famous family of artists. From her mother’s side, she inherited the talent of 6 generations of successful entertainers.
