No wonder Lindsay Lohan hasn't come out of the closet yet. According to her friends, the actress may be dating a woman but she's not over guys at all. Actually, if she and Samantha Ronson ever split up, Lindsay is getting back to dating men.
The starlet insisted on telling all her friends that she still loves men and that Samantha is the only woman she would turn gay for.
"Linds is adamant she’s not a lesbian and still loves men. She says Sam is the only girl she would go for," a friend of hers told New York Daily News.
"She has been telling everyone over and over that she’s still into guys," another friend added. "She keeps saying if anything went wrong with Sam she would date a guy next. She even flirts with guys when they go out."
Lindsay and openly-gay Samantha Ronson have been largely inseparable over the last year, with Sam accompanying Lindsay to her film sets and Lindsay joining Sam in DJ booths at gigs around the world. They have also been spotted holidaying together in Cannes and more recently in Mexico. In fact, another friend of Lindsay recently told OK! magazine that, "This is the first healthy relationship she has ever had."
But while things really seem to be going well between the two, the 22-year-old, who kept pretty quiet about the nature of her relationship with Sam, is keeping her options open, which is what she was rumored to do just last week when she smothered "Gossip Girl's" Chace Crawford with her phone calls.
According to a story in British newspaper the Mirror, Lindsay exchanged numbers "Gossip Girl" star Chace Crawford at a recent party in New York, and she has been calling him up to four times a day ever since. Onlookers at the party told the tabloid that the actress was "pretty much throwing herself at him all night."
"Everyone on the set of Gossip Girl has been teasing him mercilessly as Lindsay has been calling him three or four times a day and sending provocative text messages. Although she may just be having a laugh and not have any serious amorous intentions, everyone reckons Sam will go mad when she finds out," the source said.
Chace Crawford is not the first male celebrity Lindsay is said to have contacted in recent times. The Mirror revealed how the "Mean Girls" star bombarded Olympic swimmer Michael Phelps, 23, with texts and asked him out on a date.
Lately, her personal life is the only thing keeping her in the news, especially after her early exit from ABC's "Ugly Betty," where she was supposed to star for six episodes. No one is interested in her career anymore.
"It's over for Lindsay," one insider told MSNBC. "She's got no film work, and after this ['Ugly Betty' news], she's not going to land TV jobs. I hear she's even tried to get on ‘Dancing With the Stars' and can't."
Lindsay has a film coming out in early 2009, "Labor Pains," where she plays a women faking a pregnancy to avoid being fired.
