Not even death can stop Lindsay Lohan's father, Michael, from publicly taking shots at his former wife, Dina.
Michael Lohan, who has repeatedly spoken to the press recently about the bad influence Samantha Ronson is on his daughter, is using his father's recent death as another chance to bad mouth his ex wife.
While the first part of his statement to OK! magazine seemed acceptable and understandable, I think a lot of people would agree he should've stopped right there.
"My father just, literally, died in my arms. I notified all my kids and my lawyer notified Dina’s attorney. Let’s see if she has the decency and respect to bring my kids to the wake and funeral," Michael said.
"THIS will show her true colors! Thus, not even a call. But that’s par for the course with Dina! She didn’t even send a card or visit when he was sick," he added.
Lindsay's grandfather, who passed away Thursday, had been suffering from terminal colon cancer. Hearing the news of his passing, Lindsay reportedly messaged her father, expressing her sorrow and hope that the tragedy will bring her family together.
"Lindsay did reach out to me. She sent me a message this morning. She said, 'Now papa has found peace and maybe we can find peace in our lives, too,' " Michael Lohan was quoted by E!Online as saying.
Still, Lindsay's father showed no signs of willing to make peace, and after picking on his daughter's relationship with Ronson, whom he called "toxic," he acquired a one-hour TV special where he's set to "expose" Dina Lohan, and her hidden intentions.
"I'm going to do a one-hour special. Everyone is going to hear everything for themselves. They're going to hear everything Dina has to say. I have it all on tape - all recorded, time and date-stamped," Michael told TVGuide.com.
"You will hear it all," he continued. "I have 101 text messages between Lindsay and I, and I have about 60 tape recordings of Dina. These lies have to stop. She can't say all these things to me and when I try to address it, deny everything. Dina's a hypocrite and I'm tired of it."
