It's actually been a while since Lindsay Lohan was spotted getting cozy with a man, probably because she and DJ Samantha Ronson are on the verge of taking their relationship, which has long been speculated to be more than just a close friendship, to a new level.

Although the troubled actress' mother and sister recently denied lesbian rumors, Lindsay and her "best friend" were spotted smooching and cuddling at a party on P. Diddy's yacht.

The 21-year-old starlet and her live-in friend, who is an out lesbian, set the tongues wagging after being "caught" embracing each other in a very intimate way as they kept each other company at the rapper's bash. Pictures of the two spotted in the middle of what appears to be kissing, emerged online. Acting like nothing out of the ordinary happened, the two left the party smiling and holding hands in the early hours of the morning.

Rumors about Lindsay's lesbian tendencies have been going around for a while but this marks the first time she and Ronson publicly engaged in something that hinted the rumors might be true.

In the meantime, her mom Dina insisted that her daughter’s relationship with Sam is purely platonic. She said "They’re best friends. They’re just friends. It’s pathetic what people say." Yet, it's hard to think LiLo's not doing this for publicity too.

"Everyone knows they are more than just friends. They are lovers. Maybe because they were across the globe they didn't think anyone would notice," a source at the party was quoted by bgay.com as saying.

Another interesting thing about Lindsay was the fact that even though she is "officially" single, onlookers said she was wearing a ring on her engagement finger.
