Recovering actress Lindsay Lohan put an end to her summer romance just after Thanksgiving, People reported.

Lindsay Lohan, 21, and snowboarder Riley Giles, 25, who met and started dating over the summer while at the Cirque Lodge rehab in Utah, spent Thanksgiving together and called it quits immediately after because Lindsay “got tired of him pouting all the time.”

Apparently, the whole weekend in New York with Lindsay’s family turned out to be quite a disaster for both of them.

"They're over – they've broken up," a source was quoted by People as saying. "They split after Thanksgiving weekend. It was fine when they were in Utah, just the two of them."

"But then they returned to L.A. and Lindsay was shooting a movie, photographers followed them everyone, she had meetings with this agent, that publicist, this director. His ego couldn’t take it."

"She is concentrating on her life and her career," a friend revealed.

And while Lindsay’s friends were in favor of the dumping, "They thought he was unsophisticated and told her she should have left him in Utah with his snowboard," a friend of Riley’s also said he was having second thoughts.

''Riley was also having second thoughts about the whole thing. He knows that people in the early stages of recovery should avoid romantic entanglements -- with both recovering addicts and with other people as well. On top of all that, Riley realized Lindsay isn't the girl for him in the long term -- plus he found her family and friends in New York a real turn-off," a source told Chicago Sun Times.

In the end, Lindsay’s friends say "she gets bored easily, and she just reached a point when she wasn't interested in dealing with him anymore.

"Riley partied all week in NYC without Lindsay, when she asked him to stay in with her or go out and do things with her friends. The whole point of him joining her was to hang out in her hometown as a couple. Not to party all night long without her.

"Riley was really unpopular among Lindsay's friends and family. No one really cared for him, and Lindsay eventually started to see it."
